Alicia and I attended a talent show at Stritch on March 19 as the culmination of their HIV/AIDS Awareness Week. In case being in medical school wasn't a feat enough in itself, it turns out many of Alicia's classmates also have some amazing musical talent -- not fair! :P I wish I had some video for you to hear for yourself, but you'll just have to trust me that everyone sounded great!
Thank you for your patience! It has taken much longer than expected, but I finally finished the first version of my SmugMug WordPress plugin and have revamped my old posts to be compatible with it. The design and structure of the blog are still a work in progress, but I just can't wait any longer to start putting up new posts! :]
Please check back here soon, as I will be posting new content regularly. In the meanwhile, I'll leave you with one of my images from last weekend's Bunny Dash (5K race)...
Through a stroke of luck this random cluster of runners happened to pass me in rainbow order!
I'm sorry it's been so long between posts, but things have been craaaaaazy busy over here!
I have several posts waiting on the back burner, but I haven't put them up yet because I've been working on a new blog design, and it's taking longer than expected. (Partially because I'm writing my own custom WordPress plugin to automatically resize my images and display them in fancy row layouts. It should look sweet...if I can get it to work!) ;]
Please forgive me for depriving you of content for so long! To make amends, here's a quick slideshow of some images from our trip to Baltimore last month. Thanks to Catie and Chris for hosting us, and to Gatsby for being such a cooperative, photogenic subject! :] I'll have a proper post about this trip on the new blog.
Alicia and I were in Washington D.C. this past weekend for her AMA conference, and we met up with Wendy for a whirlwind day of sightseeing. Locations featured are the World War II Memorial, the Lincoln Monument, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Matchbox, the National Portrait Gallery, and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial.
We're in Baltimore this weekend visiting friends Catie and Chris. We stopped by to meet the neighbors, Jess and Joe, and their beautiful 5-month old baby, Titus (aka Mr. Bubble Lips -- see the last photo). I snapped a few pictures.
